Therapy Hours Seen By Appointment
Monday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm ( Dripping Springs)
Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday. 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm ( Dripping Springs)

My best work is more than one person in the room.  If they won't come or they agree to come but want to check out,  YOU come anyways.  Individual therapy focused on what you want changed is just as important.  You are attractive when you start making the changes you want. One can't do for two but one can make healthy changes for all.

Couples, Families and Adult Individuals seen

First we define your goals of what you are willing to change.  Next if I am doing couples and families, I spend a full 60 minute session with each person to understand everyone's perspective. Then we come back together to hear where compromise is possible. The work then becomes negotiating the issues starting with immediate changes.  Deeper more traditional  therapy begins as I assess how to build trust with me.  I use layman terms, normalizing behaviors on the continuum we all are on.  I draw on 20 years of working with both genders of individuals, couples and families that have successfully faced the same issues.  I keep the work focus on what I hear in last 6 months in our community so it is real today.  I help you realize you are not alone.

I frame behaviors as coping skills without having to rely on diagnosing one person as having a behavioral health diagnose entered into your medical record.  I am passionate about working with adults on their 2 person relationships. This does not fit in the medical model insurance is.

We all have  adjustment problems to life that might bring on temporary depression or anxiety.  People with longer term issues with these or past clinical treatment for these get re triggered by the current stress.  I am trained to diagnose and treat  these issues but i do it within the context of how your family issues are effected.  Family treatment does not leave you in isolation dealing with these issues.
I also use a trauma focus and earlier wounds  reinfected currently frame and just needing new healing.

I see out of control behaviors as exit ramps from the pain.  We will address stopping drinking, drugging, shopping, internet, porno, smoking, working too much and a host of other issues.  Betrayals of trust are addressed as the issue in the relation and third parties are symptoms of the lost of intimacy and communication.
